Chair: Beth Owen, Maine Sea Grant

Current Activity: The exhibits committee is contacting exhibitors from previous NMEA Conference contact lists, and identifying local individuals and organizations in the Gulf of Maine who may be interested in hosting exhibit tables at Downeast 2007.

The activities of this committee also include correspondence with the University of Southern Maine, the Eastland Hotel, and rental agencies about exhibit hall space, exhibit material shipments, rental tables and equipment, and other logistics.

The committee is looking into possibilities for local students to display marine-themed artwork in part of the exhibit space during the conference.

The committee chair is seeking additional members to assist with these activities, so please contact Beth at beth.owen@maine.edu, or 207-581-1440 if you are interested in serving on the exhibits committee, or if you have suggestions for potential exhibitors.
